Locomotive Starting Operation:
1. Move the start/stop switch to the start position and shift the gear to position 1.
2. Move the forward/reverse lever to the neutral position.
3. Press the start button to start the engine.
4. If the startup fails, press the start/stop switch again to put the machine in a stopped state for 15 seconds before restarting. 5. After starting the engine, check that all instruments and protection systems are in normal condition.
Precautions for Rubber-Tired Vehicle Drivers
1. Vehicles must have front lighting and rear red taillights.
2. Do not drive facing away from the direction of travel. If unavoidable, a signaler must be present to guide the vehicle.
3. No two (or more) vehicles should travel in opposite directions in the same tunnel section.
4. When a locomotive passes through an air door, there must be a device that emits audible and visual signals detectable on both sides of the door when the train passes, or a dedicated supervisor must coordinate the operation.
5. Vehicles must reduce to the minimum speed and sound the horn when approaching tunnel entrances, chamber openings, curves, switches, steep slopes, noisy areas, or when there are vehicles, obstacles, or visual obstructions ahead.
6. The distance between two rubber-tired vehicles traveling in the same tunnel must be kept at least 50 meters apart.
7. The braking distance of the vehicle must be tested at least once a year and strictly controlled within the design limits specified in the operation manual.
System Functions:
1. User login and permission authentication;
2. The system includes training mode and assessment mode. In assessment mode, the system can submit user assessment results to the backend management system;
3. Supports user interaction with virtual equipment in the virtual environment via VR controllers;
4. Supports users navigating the system using controllers;
Technology:
The system is developed using the Unreal Engine, leveraging PBR materials for realistic virtual reality rendering of the underground working environment. Particle systems are used to simulate effects such as water spraying and dust during operations.
